In Moscow on June 4, the Novodevichy Prudy park hosts the annual exhibition A Dog for All, an initiative by the Gift of Destiny Foundation to Promote Humane and Responsible Treatment of Animals. The event aims to help shelter animals find loving homes and raise awareness about responsible pet adoption.
The dog show for every family is a yearly citywide social project that connects people with dogs in need. This year, fifty dogs of varying ages, sizes, and appearances will be ready for new families. Each dog is in good health, fully vaccinated, and prepared to start a life with a caring household.
Prospective adopters will meet with a fund representative and a zoopsychologist to discuss the responsibilities of pet ownership and to sign a contract of responsible care. A passport or identification document is required to finalize the adoption process.
New owners will receive ongoing support from the foundation and its partners as they settle in, train, and nurture their new pets. The program emphasizes long term care and community involvement to ensure successful placements.
Last year, the exhibition drew participants from eleven shelters and involved seventy dogs across Moscow and the surrounding region, underscoring the scale and impact of this initiative.
Previously, the event has featured an exhibit called Everything for the Dog, with visible participation from Russian celebrities including artists, bloggers, and musicians who help promote the cause and often attend in person. The event runs from noon to six in the evening and is free to attend, inviting families and animal lovers alike to learn more about adopting from shelters. This summary reflects the continued commitment of the Gift of Destiny Foundation to promote humane possession and responsible animal care across communities.
