The incident occurred at three o’clock on the night of September 6, 2022, on 20-year-old Dezhnev Street. The couple was on their way home from their birthday and called a taxi. While they were waiting for the car, they saw an unidentified man in a black sports uniform beating a lying man who was no longer moving. The Russians asked him to stop loudly several times.
Then the attacker ran towards the couple. A brawl broke out in which 10-15 more people participated. They had iron and wooden sticks and bottles in their hands. Over the cries from a nearby bar, several customers ran into a fight to protect the victims.
After the girl managed to call law enforcement, the attackers fled. The young man was diagnosed with a concussion, a closed fracture of his left arm, and soft tissue bruises and sores on his face and hands.
