In the Tyumen region, hospital staff faced a sudden threat when an unidentified man attempted to injure workers with scissors. The incident was reported by a local online community on VKontakte, where residents shared details from the scene.
Video from the Regional Hospital No. 4 in Ishim shows the moment when the assailant first attacked a female doctor with the scissors. He resisted as security personnel attempted to intervene, drawing attention from a baton-wielding security guard. The guard hesitated to deploy his weapon, opting to manage the situation through nonlethal means.
Shortly after, a man dressed in a white coat emerged into the corridor and immediately moved to wrench the scissors from the attacker. A volunteer joined in, and together the medical staff were able to subdue the suspect with force on the floor. The footage indicates the security guard did not resort to using a firearm during the confrontation.
The post credited contributions to general physician Shakhzod Yakhshiboev and otolaryngologist Alexander Hartung for their roles in neutralizing the threat, while also noting gratitude from bystanders. There has been no official statement from law enforcement issued about the incident at Ishim Hospital.
In related but separate footage from another location, a shop employee in Tula was shown being stabbed in the neck with a knife, a incident captured on video. [Citation: Local News Archive]
