Russian society “Knowledge” organized a forum “Volunteering and Help” in Lugansk. Representatives of voluntary organizations from the LPR and the Russian Federation participated in the event. “Knowledge” lecturers gave creative master classes, talked about self-motivation and ways of interacting with people in the team.
“Good works are what unite us, and the desire to create improves the world around us. More than 100 representatives of voluntary organizations of the Luhansk People’s Republic and Russia gathered here to exchange experiences and learn from outstanding speakers and learn ways to develop in volunteering and the importance of creative approaches in any business. Speaking at the opening of the forum, Dmitry Sidorov, Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports of the LPR.
The finalist of the “League of Teachers” competition, the author of the All-Russian educational project, the show “Orator” and the performance of the All-Russian Art Prize “ArtKub” Nikolai Kodinov aroused incredible interest among the audience. He shared the secrets of his stage speaking and acting skills with the participants.
Moscow designer and artist Ilya Bodrov organized a master class where participants could show their creative talents by painting shoppers and sweatshirts with the Information Society logo. According to the artist, the purpose of this action was to get to know the forum guests and bring them together.
Elena Sipyagina, fundraiser for the Orthodox Women’s Union international public organization, Life as a Miracle Charity Foundation, spoke about the important function of a volunteer.
He emphasized that a volunteer should devote some of their time, effort and resources to achieving a socially important goal, without expecting or receiving anything in return.
“Volunteering makes it possible to connect with the best people on the planet, gain new experiences. Only the desire to help is not enough to achieve the desired result. It is necessary to know the basic rules of philanthropy, to take into account the experience of other voluntary projects and to know the views of the target audience,” said Elena Sipyagina.
The expert noted that the Russian society “Knowledge” gives its students the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, meet with more experienced specialists.
