The head of the Russian Federation FSMTC, Dmitry Shugaev, told RIA Novosti at the Army-2022 forum that Russia canceled the repair licenses of Mi-type helicopters from a number of enterprises in the Czech Republic and Bulgaria due to illegal cooperation with Ukraine. . He noted that Moscow sent official notes on the inadmissibility of such actions to the states, announcing the transfer of Russian military products to the Kyiv regime.

“A number of enterprises located in Bulgaria and the Czech Republic revoked licenses for the right to repair Mi-type helicopters,” said Shugaev.

According to him, Russia also suspended the supply of spare parts and components for aviation and other equipment of Russian and Soviet production in hostile countries.

He also said that the service is facing cases of non-fulfillment of obligations by various countries regarding the illegal re-export of Russian and Soviet weapons to Ukraine.

“A clear example is the illegal US transfer to Ukraine of Russian-made helicopters previously delivered to Afghanistan, in violation of all norms of international law in the field of conventional arms control,” he said.

Shugaev noted that the ministry has and actively uses a mechanism against such illegal supplies, “but we must understand that, We cannot impose re-export restrictions on all Soviet weapons and equipment.”.

He also said that Russia exported more than $14 billion in weapons in 2021, the plan was fully implemented.

Partners have no reserves

Serhiy Krivonos, former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, described the situation with military aid to Kiev on the Politeka YouTube channel. Krivonos also noted that the Russian defense industry works 24/7 and “knows how to manufacture equipment”.

In early August, it was reported that the first three Gepard anti-aircraft installations from Germany were transferred to Ukraine. In addition, Germany should provide Ukraine with the IRIS-T air defense system (air defense), MARS multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) and other weapons.

It is also reported that Ukraine has started negotiations with the USA on the supply of ATACMS long-range missiles for HIMARS MLRS. Washington did not comment on the reality of the negotiations, but previously ruled out the possibility of transferring such weapons.
