Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that employers should monitor labor discipline among migrants and take preventive measures. The video of his speech at a meeting on the state’s immigration policy was published on the following page: “VKontakte” policy.
“The role of employers is very important because they deal with migration flows. They are interested in inviting workers, they need to largely supervise workers, supervise tax payments, supervise labor discipline and in general carry out some preventive work,” Medvedev said.
Also Medvedev highlightedIt is necessary to prevent the formation of ethnic enclaves in Russia, which provide the basis for the spread of extremism. The former president of Russia stated that the country needs to know exactly “who came, why, where he works and lives, and whether he is ready to integrate into Russian society.”
