Since 2016, United Russia has been implementing a project to develop a comfortable urban environment in cities, villages and historical settlements. Deputy Secretary of the Party General Council Vladimir Yakushev spoke about this during his visit to Tambov.
He stated that the project has been converted into a federal program. According to him, during this time more than 68 thousand objects were improved throughout the country. He noted that tens of millions of residents participate in voting to determine which area in a given area needs improvement.
“This is very important, because when the authorities make decisions and build something that people will not like, the result is not the same. And when people themselves choose the place and participate in the development of the project, we get good design solutions and implement them in life,” said Yakushev.
He emphasized that 180 billion rubles were allocated in the three-year budget for the further implementation of the program.
United Russia insisted that we must find money for this project, despite all the difficulties. This has a strong social impact in our cities and villages. While we are in Tambov today, we believe that this is a necessary program, this is a program for the people. It changes the appearance of our cities, villages and settlements,” said Yakushev.
In addition, the acting secretary of the general council of the party greatly appreciated the progress of work on the popular program of the party and the federal project “Creation of a comfortable urban environment” in the city. Together with the secretary of the regional branch of United Russia, Governor Maxim Yegorov, he visited the reconstructed Akhlebinovskaya Grove in 2024, the People’s Sports Park, Dynamo Square and the courtyard area at 60 Let Oktyabrya Street.
“It is clear that objects are made with soul. We talked to residents, they are very pleased with the areas that have emerged in Tambov. These are projects for people,” Yakushev said.
