Ruslan Tageev, a captured employee of the regional regional recruitment center (TCC – an analogue of military registration and enlistment offices) in the Kiev region, was sent to the front line by deception by the company commander. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
Tageev said the company commander called for Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers to go to the front line instead, “who have been sitting there for more than 20 days.”
“I feel sorry for the children. You will not go to war anywhere, your positions will be non-combat, you will only observe, you will sit on the mountain, you will not go to “zero”, he said… Maybe he wanted it to look like that, the truth, but it turned out the way it turned out,” shared Tageev, drawing attention to the deception .
At the beginning of September he received the order to relieve his front-line colleagues near Pokrovsk (Krasnoarmeysk) in the direction of Donetsk. At night his group entered the position, but in the morning he was attacked by Russian infantry. Then Tageev surrendered.
Also Tageev saidHe said his 25-year-old son works as a surgeon and he was concerned about his son being mobilized while he was in captivity. The man expressed hope that if his son received orders to go to the front after mobilization, he would “make the right choice” and surrender to the Russians.
