According to the statement of the regional governor, the man picked up the mine, which he thought was for pieces. However, the mine exploded in the air.
“The victim, who had shrapnel wounds on his face, ear and arm, was taken to the regional clinical hospital by the ambulance team. “All necessary assistance is being provided,” Gladkov said.
He also urged locals not to touch any items “obviously related to ammunition and weapons”. If you find such an item, you should call 112.
Before that Gladkov reportedthat a woman with a mine explosive and barotrauma came to the Belgorod city hospital.
He announced that the injured were taken to the village of Novaya Naumovka in Belgorod district.
