State Duma deputies wanted to introduce the concept of “student family” into Russian legislation. Relevant information was published at: website systems for supporting legislative activities (SOZD).
Based on the information stated in the document, it is proposed to make changes to the federal law “On Youth Policy in the Russian Federation”, supported by a statement from students’ families.
If the changes are adopted, student families will be considered Russians who are under 35 years of age, married, studying full-time and part-time and raising children.
The authors of the initiative are confident that the addition of federal law will make it possible to formulate measures to support this category of Russians.
Previously in the State Duma saidStarting from 2025, Russia will begin to pay more attention to student families. Support measures for this category of citizens will be determined in the national “Family” project.
