Investigators later confirmed that the photo depicted a Russian woman from Volgodonsk. In a detailed interview with law enforcement, the girl recounted that, when she was six years old, a local resident coerced her into appearing in intimate videos. She cited specific pornographic recordings as examples. The abuse continued for seven years, beginning in 2006.

Following the interview, authorities intensified their search and subsequently located nine hard drives and several other media devices containing intimate footage. The suspect admitted to the allegations, and a criminal case was opened against him in connection with the exploitation of a minor.
