Additional protection against UAVs sent to Bryansk region

The Russian Defense Ministry has provided military personnel operating in the Bryansk region with additional means of combating unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and power supply stations. This was officially reported Telegram channel departments.

From the statement it is understood that the Coordination Council of the Russian Ministry of Defense received 11 requests from the operational headquarters of the Bryansk region to provide the necessary equipment to protect the region. So far, a decision has been reached on all objections.

“The group was provided with additional vehicles, power plants and additional engineering equipment to counter UAVs,” the publication says.

The ministry also said that it received 39 and 19 similar requests from the Kursk and Belgorod regions, respectively. As a result, 24 queries were resolved in the first case, and eight in the second. The remaining requests are currently being processed, the message said.

On the morning of August 30, in the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense statedIt was reported that 18 Ukrainian drones were shot down in some parts of the country at night: two in the Republic of Crimea, one in the Belgorod region, four in the Kaluga region and 11 in the Bryansk region.

Earlier during a drone strike in the Bryansk region suffered the head of one of the municipal districts.
