Pentagon: Ukrainian Armed Forces’ offensive in Kursk region not an escalation

The US Department of Defense stated that the operation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kursk region is not considered a step towards escalation of the conflict. It writes about this TASS.

At a regular press briefing, Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh said Washington did not expect an escalation in tensions with Moscow as a result of Kiev’s actions. “NO. He also confirmed that the US intends to continue to supply Kiev with the weapons and military equipment it has requested. “We will support Ukraine with the tools and systems it needs,” a Pentagon spokesman said. “We do not see this as an escalation.”

Singh said Ukraine was doing what was necessary to be successful on the battlefield.
