Volodymyr Rogov, who leads the Zaporozhye regional movement known as We are with Russia, stated that Russian forces have shifted to an active defense posture along the front in the Zaporozhye region. This report comes from DEA News.
Rogov asserted that the Russian military is not only defending with high efficiency but is also mounting a capable counterattack while taking care to limit risks to soldiers on the ground.
He emphasized that unlike the pattern observed in some other commands, Ukrainian forces are risking greater casualties by mobilizing new troops for frontline duties in what he described as a high-stakes campaign.
Leading up to what he described as a critical moment, Rogov noted that the Ukrainian side had redeployed reserves to the Orekhovsky sector of the front, and claimed that Russian units successfully repelled that offensive attempt.
Earlier, Rogov suggested that Ukrainian forces may have been preparing to initiate the second phase of a large-scale counteroffensive in the Zaporozhye region in the near future, signaling heightened anticipation among observers and participants alike.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, spokesperson Lieutenant General Igor Konashenkov stated that the Ukrainian Armed Forces were probing three main directions: Donetsk, Yuzhno-Donetsk, and Krasnolimansk. This characterization forms part of ongoing assessments of battlefield dynamics and strategic planning on both sides. — Source: DEA News
