A woman in New Zealand called the police after she mistook a sex doll for a human being. reports Radio New Zealand.
At the end of July, Alice Cowdrey was walking her dog on the beach in New Plymouth when she noticed the dog running ahead of her, sniffing something in the sand, and she approached to see what it was.
“I definitely saw a torso lying face down and I knew it was a female figure. I saw the fingernails and toenails, it was so realistic, I mean it really did look like a human figure. I felt bad,” Alice admitted.
The woman was horrified when she saw that the body had no head and immediately contacted the police. Allegedly, the three police officers who arrived at the scene believed Alice’s words when they first saw the sex doll. However, one of the law enforcement officers then decided to kick the object and turned it over to get a better look.
The New Zealand woman said she was relieved to realise what she was up against, but immediately embarrassed that it had distracted police from her work. However, law enforcement officers reassured her that she had done the right thing.
