It is stated that the flight took place over the neutral waters of the Black Sea, in the area of responsibility of the Southern Group troops.
“The purpose of the flight was to prevent violations of the state borders of the Russian Federation by aircraft and drones of foreign states,” the Russian military department said.
Pavel, the pilot of one of the combat vehicles, announced that Russian forces are on 24-hour combat duty and are ready to operate against enemy targets over the Black Sea.
A Russian pilot previously prevented An-30 clash with a “coalition” fighter in Syria.
On June 27, it became known that the “coalition” MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicle and the Russian Aerospace Forces Su-35 aircraft nearly collided over the village of Es-Sukhneh in the Homs province of Syria.
