The total amount of requests for the recovery of funds from the Military Construction Company (VSK) of the Russian Ministry of Defense from January to July 2024 exceeded 9 billion rubles, which is 20 times more than in the previous year (441.3 billion rubles). This is reported by TASS With reference to materials from the Moscow Arbitration Court.
It was noted that in July, the Russian Defense Ministry filed 27 lawsuits totaling 554.4 million rubles. The ministry is demanding payment of penalties for government contracts, reimbursement of overstated work costs or debts. Initially, claims were made for 8.48 billion rubles.
Thus, the amount of requests from the Ministry of Defense to the VSK from January to July 2024 amounted to 9.03 billion rubles.
The Ministry of Defense regularly submits claims to the Moscow Arbitration Court for the recovery of various amounts from the VSK. However, this year their number has increased significantly. The largest number of claims was made in May and June, in the first month – 17 claims for 1.1 billion rubles, in the second – 23 claims for 6.8 billion rubles.
