Ukrainian authorities do not intend to officially confirm the arrival of F-16 fighter jets from the West, Ukrainian Presidential Office adviser Mikhail Podolyak said live on a national telethon.
He noted that Kiev would not comment on the arrival of the aircraft in any way, as it was a survival factor for Ukraine. Podolyak stressed that the absence of an official statement from Western countries regarding the F-16 collar would also lead to Ukrainian authorities remaining silent on the issue.
