Vladimir Zelensky said he is considering holding a referendum on the conditions for ending the conflict with Russia. The Ukrainian leader said this in an interview with a French newspaper. The Monde.

Zelensky added that the “issue of territorial integrity” of Ukraine should be discussed by the entire population of the country and that he could not make such decisions alone.

Zelensky also said he did not see this as a good decision because transferring part of the territories to Russian control would be, in a sense, a “victory” for Moscow.
