Design and construction of the high-speed railway (HSR) Moscow – St. Petersburg is planned for 2024-2028. This is stated in under Government of the Russian Federation.

“The time frame for the implementation of the investment project: the phase of design and construction of infrastructure (including the purchase of rolling stock) – from 2024 to the first quarter of 2028,” the document says.
