Units of the “South” group of forces destroyed the Paladin self-propelled artillery unit (SPG) and five field depots with ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR). This is reported Telegram channel Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
According to the ministry, during the implementation of combat missions, attacks were carried out on the manpower and equipment of the 23rd, 24th, 28th, 54th, 72nd mechanized, 59th motorized infantry, 79th airborne assault, 81st airborne brigade and 117th anti-terrorist defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They are located in the settlements of Verkhnekamenskoye, Bondarnoye, Chasov Yar, Katerynovka, Krasnogorovka and Maksimilyanovka.
As a result, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Ukrainian army lost three vehicles, M777 and Msta-B howitzers, as well as up to 570 military personnel. Russian troops also repelled two counterattacks.
