Court upholds Meta manager’s decision

A military court of appeals has upheld the conviction of Andy Stone, the communications director of Meta Platforms (known as an extremist and banned in Russia), for public calls for terrorism. The correspondent reports TASS from the courtroom.

“The court finds the trial court’s decision to be lawful and justified and leaves Stone’s defense complaint unsatisfied,” the ruling reads.

Stone was sentenced in absentia to six years in prison.
