He explained that barre is based on a combination of ballet exercises, functional strength training, yoga and Pilates. According to him, this type of exercise will load all muscle groups.
“In about a month of barre, you can get into good physical shape, provided you’re really dedicated to the workout. Muscles get stronger, fat goes down, posture improves, and even gait changes,” Pushkareva noted.
