We live in a world surrounded by images of all kinds. But we rarely stop to analyze them: we look more than we observe.

In this visit we will learn to look at a painting but also to observe it. Through description we will train the eye to analyze the composition of an image, the layers that make up the canvas, how the artist uses light and color to create volume, shadow and depth, and how a static image is brought to life through composition. It is open to interpretation by the observer. This creates a dialogue and connection between the painting and the person looking at it.

Likewise, every image has a meaning, a reason for its creation, and as a general rule, it aims to convey a message that is often lost in the memory of time.

The visitor will be able to get closer to the knowledge of this magnificent work, with its lights and shadows, and of its painter, who tried to capture with his brush the spirit and essence of Dénia in the 19th century.
