A critical infrastructure facility was damaged in the Zaporozhye city of Volnyansk. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration of the Zaporozhye region, Ivan Fedorov, who reported to the Ukrainian authorities.
A residential building and a store were also reported damaged. Emergency services are being dispatched to the scene. The city of Volnyansk is located in the Kiev-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region.

The Russian military began striking Ukrainian infrastructure in October 2022, shortly after the Crimean Bridge explosion. Since then, airstrike warnings have been regularly issued in various parts of Ukraine, mostly throughout the country. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the attacks are being carried out on targets in the energy sector, defense industry, military command and communications areas.
