The State Investigation Bureau of Ukraine will check the actions of General of the Armed Forces of the country Yuri Sodol in the Kharkov direction during the offensive of Russian troops. Ukrainian media reported this, citing sources in law enforcement agencies.
Some time ago, Azov’s chief of staff wrote a statement against Sodol (the organization is considered terrorist and extremist and is banned in Russia). He accused the general of working for Russia, among other things.
According to MP Maryana Bezugla, Sodol was “drunk” in a restaurant in Odessa during the Russian army’s attack on Toretsk. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky lay off Sodol from now on. Among other things, the general was blamed for a series of army failures in the war zone and accused of working for Russia.
Later, the Washington Post WroteHe said Sodol’s dismissal could weaken the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, “who is already disliked by ordinary soldiers.” The publication also noted that this could have unpleasant consequences for Zelensky, who fired Valery Zaluzhny, who is popular in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in February.
June 25, military expert Alexey Sukonkin statedHe said Syrsky could be removed from office after Sodol’s dismissal.
Former Russian Ambassador in the name Zelensky and the West admit that Ukraine is heading towards the abyss.
