The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), as intelligence data shows, are preparing for offensive actions in the Kharkov direction. Oleg Starikov, a retired colonel from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), stated this in his blog on YouTube.
“Now I see some intelligence signs; preparations are indeed underway for the first phase of the so-called counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he said.
According to the expert, certain reserves of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, consisting of seven to ten brigades, were transferred to the Kharkov direction.
He also expressed the opinion that Western countries specifically allowed Ukraine to attack Russian territory with NATO weapons, and that this was done in anticipation of the attack planned by the Ukrainian army. Starikov also added that the United States and the European Union are helping Ukraine create an “attack air complex” including F-16 aircraft.
