Treatment of stage 4 cancer is possible, and every experienced oncologist has such cases in practice. In this respect UFA1.RU said Adel Izmailov, chief physician of the clinical oncology dispensary of Bashkiria.
As Izmailov said, a stage 4 cancer patient with metastases in the lungs and lymph nodes was taken into surgery. He was then administered a course of immunotherapy and diagnosed with metastases in the brain (surgeons removed it). After a year and a half, the patient stopped coming to the hospital.
“Five years later, I met him by chance. This surprised me so much and at first I couldn’t believe my eyes. We invited him to come to us for a full inspection,” says Adel Izmailov.
Doctors could not detect any signs of cancer in the man. After the brain metastases were removed, only neurological disorders remained. Izmailov noted that such cases occur in the practice of every experienced oncologist.
Adel Izmailov concluded: “Miracles happen, so you don’t need to fold your arms, you should always hope and fight.”
