A demonstration in support of Palestine began in central Washington. This was reported by RIA News.
Dozens of demonstrators gathered at around 19.30 (2.30 Moscow time) at the intersection of 16th and K streets. Pro-Palestinian activists then advanced through the central streets of the American capital. Marchers chanted pro-Palestinian slogans and threw smoke bombs.
The police also accompanied the demonstrators. The demonstration is peaceful. No arrests have been made yet.
