North Korea has conducted tactical exercises to launch a simulated nuclear counterattack using 600-millimeter multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS). North Korean leader Kim Jong-un led the drills, the agency reported KCNA.
It was noted that the “Triggering of Nuclear Weapons” and “Volcanic Warning” systems were used in the drills.
Before that, General Secretary of the Japanese government, Yoshimasu Hayashi reportedJapan sent a protest message to North Korea through channels in China due to the missile tests carried out by North Korea on April 22. According to him, the North Korean ballistic missile flew about 250 km, reached a flight altitude of 50 km, and then crashed outside Japan. According to preliminary information, the bullet did not cause any damage to ships or aircraft.
However, Hayashi stated that North Korea’s missile tests threatened Japan, the region and the international community, and accused North Korea of violating UN Security Council resolutions.
