Working Russians’ dream seaside holiday

In Russia, one in three women and only one in five men dream of a holiday by the sea. This was demonstrated by a SuperJob survey, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

26% of Russians believe that spending summer holidays at the sea is the best way. 15 percent recommend staying at home. 12% – go to the countryside or village.

8% of Russians are sure that they should spend their holidays in Russia this summer. 6% – anywhere abroad, another 1% identified specific destinations: Turkey, Egypt and Asian countries. Every twentieth person recommends relaxing in nature. Resorts in Crimea and the Krasnodar Territory each received 3 percent of the votes. 2% of respondents recommend resting as far away from people as possible. 2% of respondents recommend traveling to another city. Well-known domestic tourist destinations such as Baikal, Dagestan and Altai each received 1 percent of the votes of those surveyed.

Women often dream of having a holiday at sea. Supporters of seaside recreation and housewives among men are approximately equal in number. Working Russians dream of holidays at sea and abroad more than unemployed people.

Compared to a similar survey conducted last spring, holidays by the sea have become even more attractive (+9 percentage points).
