St. Dmitry Burakov, associate professor of the University of Railway Transport (PGUPS) in St. Petersburg, was detained. He told about the arrest “Fontanka”.
According to the assistant professor’s statement, he does not know exactly why he was detained. However, the publication wrote that this may be related to his page on the social network where Ukrainian symbols are posted.
“No accusations have been made against me yet, no protocol has been prepared. From 16:40 [2 апреля] “I’m at police station number 2,” said Burakov.
He announced that a photo with Ukrainian symbols was published on his page on the VKontakte social network. On March 1, 2014, a photo appeared on his page showing the trident against the background of the Ukrainian flag.
