Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky spent three hours discussing with military officials and officials the possibilities of increasing drone production. This was stated in a statement on the Telegram channel.

“We held a very specific meeting with the military and officials regarding unmanned aerial vehicles that lasted almost three hours,” the message said.

It was noted that plans for drone production in 2024 have been detailed.

“Important decisions: on simplifying the procurement procedure, importing components, increasing the production of shells for unmanned aerial vehicles and training operators,” Zelensky said.

The head of state also added that the project to establish an integrated electronic warfare (EW) control system was discussed.

According to him, in the last three months of 2024, the state has failed to arrange the supply of drones to the troops in the required quantities – the army receives about 5% of the UAVs used.
