An Iranian fishing boat hijacked by pirates in the Arabian Sea was released by Indian warships. This was reported with reference to the press service of the Indian Navy. TASS.

The alarm was received on the evening of March 28 from an area 150 kilometers southwest of the island of Socotra. Two Indian Navy ships deployed in the Oman Sea to ensure maritime security moved towards the Iranian fishing ship Al Qambar. On arrival, it was discovered that nine armed pirates had boarded the Al Qambar and taken hostage the 23 crew members, who were Pakistani nationals.

After about 12 hours, the Indian army forced the pirates to surrender. The crew was rescued and no one was injured.

An algorithm for joint actions was developed to destroy unmanned boats and UAVs of a mock enemy under the conditions of a massive attack using heavy machine guns and AK-630 anti-aircraft artillery. All intended targets were hit.
