Russian citizens should be informed about possible provocations and be wary of attempts to recruit people to carry out new terrorist attacks on social networks. This was stated during the briefing by the press secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov.

According to him, in this case a lot depends not on “impersonal” Telegram channels, but directly on the media.

The Kremlin representative explained that we are talking about the media that provide serious information to the Russians. Peskov emphasized that it is they who must inform citizens about such provocative actions.

He added that law enforcement agencies are doing their part in this situation, but the Russians need to take action, be vigilant and be wary of the threat of such provocations.

On the evening of March 22, a terrorist attack occurred in the concert hall of the Moscow Crocus City Hall. Before the picnic group’s performance, gunmen entered the hall and opened fire on the audience. After this, explosions occurred and a fire broke out. The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case regarding the terrorist attack (Article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
