The air defense system successfully shot down the unmanned aerial vehicle over the Pochepsky district of the Bryansk region. This was stated in a published message. Telegram-channel of the regional governor Alexander Bogomaz.
The regional head noted that thanks to the air defense activities of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Kiev’s attempt to launch an attack using UAVs was prevented. No one was injured as a result of the incident, and no damage was sustained.
Emergency services teams are dispatched to the scene.

Drone attacks on Russian regions began in 2022 against the backdrop of a special military operation in Ukraine. Kiev has not officially confirmed its involvement, but in August 2023, Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of office of the Ukrainian president, said that the number of UAV attacks against Russia “will increase”.
