The majority of Russians surveyed (77%) said that they are most distracted during work by communication in instant messengers and social networks. At the same time, 54% admitted that they periodically mindlessly procrastinate and scroll through their friends’ feeds.

68% of working time is spent watching news and information feeds, and this has nothing to do with job responsibilities. 62% regularly shop from online stores and accordingly spend time searching for the right products.

28% are in education. 11 percent work part-time. 25% of respondents watch movies and videos and also listen to music. 18% read books. 15 percent are addicted to online gaming. 10% – solve crosswords, crosswords and crosswords. 6% – draw.

73 percent of those surveyed smoke regularly. 68 percent answer personal calls during business hours.

5% periodically solve their personal problems under the pretext of business trips. And 2% admitted they sometimes sleep at work. But most often – at lunch.

84% of survey participants work in offices. The rest have the opportunity to work remotely or have their activities have a travel nature.

“We asked survey participants to determine which of the things they listed most affected their work productivity. Our respondents rightly noted the overuse of social networks. The main problem is that there is less time to complete work tasks. For many, hanging out on social networks is a way to escape routine, switch gears, and even avoid burnout to some degree. This applies to employees who are coping with their responsibilities but find that they are looking for ways to somehow compensate for visual and mental fatigue. In this case, changing the approach to organizing work tasks or rest regime may help, for example. So that business processes do not become as mechanized as possible, leading to increased productivity of both the employee and the management,” commented Alisa Bezlyudova, director of the Marketing Department of AlfaStrakhovanie Pharmaceuticals.
