Experts from the Ministry of Emergency Situations have not yet been able to reach the miners trapped under the rubble in the shaft of the Pioneer mine in the Amur Region. This was reported by TASS Regarding operational services.

“Attempts to contact miners at the mine are ongoing but so far this has not been possible. Various options are being considered,” he told reporters.

As the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced, rescue teams have already drilled 71 meters of rock to reach the miners. Rescue teams are currently considering ways to send a high-precision drilling rig to the collapse site to increase the efficiency of the work.

On March 20, a special plane of the Russian Emergencies Ministry arrived in Blagoveshchensk with an additional rescue team and group of engineers.
