The woman booked a room at Akra Hotel 5* in Antalya through the portal. When he arrived at the hotel it turned out that the hotel had not received the money. Then the tourist wrote a letter to the support service of the Russian service, allegedly promising to book a new room in this hotel. Waiting for a solution to the problem, the Russian woman independently paid for a day’s stay on vacation. The next day nothing changed. In the court decision, it was stated that the woman did not pay for the next day because she “could not pay for the hotel.” She had to return home by purchasing a business class ticket for 198 thousand rubles.
In her lawsuit against the service, the Russian woman demanded 3 million rubles for non-pecuniary damages, but the court reduced this amount to 5 thousand rubles. The portal must also compensate the victim for the cost of the ticket.
