NATO should ignore the possibility of sending troops to Ukraine because this decision carries the danger of starting the third world war. This conclusion was reached by the head of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, whose words were quoted by a local news portal. RAI News 24.

“If there is a war with Russia, there is a risk of a third world war,” he warned.

It recommends that NATO forces not engage in an actual conflict between Russia and Ukraine and not send troops there to avoid nuclear risks. Instead of such a scenario, it is better to protect international law and Ukraine’s freedom through diplomatic, economic and technical means.

“I hope neither side will send troops there,” the department head said.

Tajani also assured that “the Italians, like all sane people, do not want the direct participation of the alliance countries in an armed conflict with the Russian Federation.”

Before that, American war correspondent Russell Bentley aforementionedRussia’s victory in the Northern Military District in Ukraine or a change in pro-war regimes in the West are two scenarios that would prevent a nuclear conflict.

Previously in the USA reportedHe said they would respond to a hypothetical Russian nuclear attack.
