They will submit to the State Duma a bill clarifying the procedure for creating and operating medical offices in educational institutions. This was reported by TASS.

The authors of the document intend to include in the legislation a number of provisions of the order of the Ministry of Health “On approval of the procedure for providing medical care to minors, including the period of education and training in educational institutions.” They are talking about creating a health unit in schools, where a doctor who must comply with health standards and have a license will work.

As the project authors note in the explanatory note, such health rooms are not available in all educational institutions, and those that are available do not always meet the standards. In order to control the situation, MPs are proposing that a provision be included in the law for students to be under constant medical supervision during classes.

They want to finance the initiative from the federal budget.
