An airport needs to be built in Poland as part of a large-scale transportation hub to transfer NATO forces to the eastern flank. This was stated by Polish President Andrzej Duda, reports »Polish Press Agency”

“Based on Poland’s security, we need an airport that can accommodate the largest military transport aircraft, that can accommodate a large number of military transport aircraft, and that can accommodate them quickly,” Duda said.

The President of Poland believes that this project should be implemented through the Central Communications Port (CPK). This airport is expected to be the largest in the country and several years will be devoted to its construction.

Before that, the Polish Sejm almost unanimously voted accepted Law on the suspension of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE).

Former Polish Minister of Defense commented the possibility of sending its troops to Ukraine.
