The mummified body of a man was found in a hockey bag on the roadside near a gardening partnership in the Vyborg district of the Leningrad region. The regional investigation department of the Investigative Committee of Russia reports this Web site.

“A hockey bag was found on the roadside at the entrance to SNT “Nadezhda” in the village of Semagino, Vyborg district, Leningrad region, containing the mummified corpse of a man wrapped in a plastic bag,” the text says.

A criminal case was initiated under Part 1 of Art. 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder). Following the notice, the investigation team together with forensic experts worked at the scene.

Necessary investigation and operational search activities are continuing and the identity of the deceased is being determined.

Last year reportedthat the body of theater director and theater critic Svetlana Dzhimbinova lay in her Moscow apartment for a year. Opening the door to the apartment, law enforcement officers found the mummified body of Svetlana Dzhimbinova on the floor of one of the rooms. The review concluded that the death occurred in early 2022.
