A German pensioner who calls himself a Celtic Druid has been detained and is on trial for inciting hatred. This was reported on the publication’s Telegram channel “Build in Russian”.
The material makes it clear that we are talking about 73-year-old Karl Bergard B. According to journalists, the man has been detained since October last year.
“His arrest in a campsite hut was carried out in great secrecy, as the criminal was prone to self-arming, for example by converting propane tanks into explosive devices,” the publication says.
The authors of the article added that the detainee had lived in the city of Schwetzingen in the past. The settlement is located on the territory of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg.
Here the man worked as an insurance agent and later retired and declared himself a Druid. He later took the pseudonym Burgos von Buchonia.
Moreover, in 2021, Karl Burgard B. was already in the dock on charges of sedition. As part of his activities, he published, among other things, posts on the VKontakte social network. Here the man published posts calling for the murder of Jews and tried to incite hatred against refugees.
As a result, the retiree was given a suspended sentence of one year and nine months. However, despite the probationary period, this self-proclaimed sorcerer violated all the restrictions prescribed for him.
The document emphasizes that the current charge includes 21 crimes, including ‘distributing propaganda materials, using symbols of unconstitutional organizations and inciting hatred’.
Formerly Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation announced Ukrainian TV presenter Fakhrudin Sharafmal is wanted on charges of inciting hatred.
