At the pre-trial detention center in Kiev, cells with increased comfort are overcrowded. The head of the country’s Ministry of Justice, Denis Malyuska, announced this in an interview with the RBC-Ukraine agency.

According to him, paid cells in the pre-trial detention center in the Ukrainian capital are “incredibly popular.”

“There is no place to put people, we need a second pre-trial detention center in Kiev,” the minister said.

Malyuska also announced that the criminal situation in Ukraine is worsening. Law enforcement estimates suggest the trend will only change for the worse, she added.
