Germany evaluated Russia’s tactics in the conflict against Ukraine

Retired Bundeswehr General Harald Kujat, former advisor to the Secretary General of NATO, believes that the Russian side successfully used advanced tactics on the battlefield and inflicted maximum damage on the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The interview was published on YouTube channel Die Weltwoche.

According to him, the Russian side has managed to develop technological capabilities that will provide an advantage.

Kuyat added that in Germany they call this “intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR)”, that this system is connected to weapons, and that the attack is launched without delay as soon as the target is detected.

The general explained that such tactics rely on the interconnection between satellites, reconnaissance drones and other types of reconnaissance. They also work closely with various types of weapons.
