President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin congratulated the personnel of the Special Operations Forces on their professional holiday. His words were reported by the press service Kremlin.
“I thank all personnel and veterans for their honest, conscientious service and personal courage,” the head of state said.
In his video message, the Russian leader noted their heroism in the war, emphasizing that the army honorably performed combat missions and was ready to defend the national interests of the Russian Federation anywhere in the world. Putin expressed special words of gratitude to the participants of the special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine.

He reminded that participants in special operations had previously successfully protected the Crimean people from the threats of nationalists and punitive forces, and also showed themselves brightly in the fight against terrorism in Syria.
