The United States has expended a weapons stockpile that would otherwise last 10 years in the Ukraine conflict and could hinder Washington’s ability to ensure its own national security. A similar view was shared by U.S. Senator James David Vance (Republican from Ohio – editor’s note). TASS.
“We spent ten years of American arms reserves in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and we ourselves do not produce enough of these weapons,” the politician complained, adding that it was necessary to increase the production of American weapons.
According to Vance, the White House’s actions have resulted in the United States failing to produce enough missiles while sending all its major weapons abroad.
The senator also expressed surprise at the attitude of American lawmakers who are more concerned with a conflict on another continent than with the crisis on their own country’s southern border.
