According to the agency, the Omsk resident was detained at his place of residence. The young man admitted to law enforcement that he found an offer to earn money in one of the messengers and went to the Tyumen region on the instructions of his curator.
The Russian rented an apartment in the city of Ishim, and then for two days visited the addresses specified by the curator in Abatsk, Berdyuzhye and Kazansky, receiving money from them. It has been noted that fraudsters act according to the “your relative had an accident” scheme.
The damage caused by the attackers amounted to 1.5 million rubles. Omsk received about 7% of this amount for its services. A criminal case was opened against the man for fraud.
