The US Department of Defense continues to finance Ukraine from its own resources. An American television channel reports this with reference to sources. CNN.
The Pentagon has spent $430 million on various types of assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) since October 2023. The funds went, among other things, to finance the Ukrainian army in the United States and Germany.
The TV channel noted that the operational expenses of the US Army Command in Europe and Africa are approximately 3 billion dollars. CNN emphasized that if the command continues to spend its funds, it will have to choose between supporting Ukraine and, for example, building barracks for American soldiers.
According to senior sources in the Pentagon, if the situation does not change with the aid to Kiev, the money will run out in May this year.
